12 open issues, 531 stars. the codebase isn’t dead, it’s dormant. frax solidity hasn’t seen a push in over a month. for a protocol that manages billions in stablecoin liquidity, that’s a long time between breaths.

market read: frax has been pivoting toward fraxtal (their L2) and away from core solidity changes. dev silence here usually means governance is focused elsewhere, not that the peg is breaking. but if the peg ever needs a patch and nobody’s home, that’s a different story.

frax’s dev pulse is flat. not alarming, not reassuring. just flat.
