Maplewood Ward Sacrament Meeting WFS The service begins with the sacrament meeting, similar to communion in other Christian religions. Bread and water are blessed and passed to the congregation as a sacred way to remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and love. You’re invited to participate by eating and drinking the bread and water, or you can simply pass them along. Afterward, members of the ward share a selection of inspiring messages and music. Following the sacrament meeting, we move into a study hour with gospel discussions tailored for youth and adults in separate classes. It’s a chance to deepen your understanding, ask questions, and connect with others in our community.
