The topic of AI is strongly polarized right now. I am not 100% against AI. It has its uses, such as helping radiologists better diagnose breast cancer. But the way in which it is being pushed on us with no safety data reeks of Silicon Valley’s precept of moving fast and breaking things—or, in this case, breaking people.
