It’s the first morning that I haven’t cried, so that’s progress.

I can also now move slowly without a walker, just a bit hunched over still. Getting me up is the hard part.

My baby bump looks metal as hell. Literally. There are over 40 staples from my sternum to my pelvis.

Shoutout to my incredible husband, @WalkerAmerica, who has been by my side throughout this nightmare. I truly could not handle this without him. In sickness and in health, boy did he prove it, and I am so grateful for that man.

I’m really hoping the worst part is over. I need to believe that. And I’m praying for a healthy and smooth delivery in August.

Gonna be a long road, fam. But I hope in a couple years I’ll be dancing in an orange wig again 🧡

1. Amber - v6.0.3

Amber is a mobile Nostr event signer for Android used to securely sign actions for other apps. This release fixes race conditions and relay reconnection issues, improves intent handling, adds account index support for seed words, and includes background update checks along with general dependency upgrades and stability improvements. Comet is a local-first encrypted notes app built with Tauri, React, TypeScript, and Rust, using Nostr for sync. This release is a small update that improves navigation by allowing users to focus on the next note without triggering unwanted scrolling, enhancing the editing experience. This was the latest, and there was another release (alpha-95f47bd) last week.

4. Nymchat - v3.58.287

Nymchat is an ephemeral chat client built on Nostr (bridged with Bitchat) for anonymous, temporary messaging. This release is a small hotfix fixing an issue where user settings were not saving properly, improving reliability and user experience. Although this was the latest release, the releases of v3.58.286 and v3.58.285 were also last week.

5. WaveFunc Radio - v0.1.2

WaveFunc Radio is a Nostr-based internet radio directory and player with full-text search for discovering and streaming stations. The v0.1.2 release improves search reliability with better indexing and client-side matching, adds remote reindexing capability, and includes updated release process documentation. This was the latest release of the week, and there were also the releases of v0.1.1 and v0.1.0 last week.

6. Wisp - v0.18.0-beta

Wisp is a minimal Android Nostr client used for browsing feeds, media, and messaging on the Nostr network. This release adds support for custom emoji rendering, BlurHash and richer media metadata, a fullscreen image viewer with encrypted DM support, persistent feed state, and introduces on-device AI spam detection and a Web of Trust-based content filter, along with various stability and rendering fixes. There was another release (v0.17.6-beta) also last week.

1. Mostro Core - v0.8.4

Mostro Core is a Rust-based library that provides peer-to-peer functionality for decentralized applications and underpins the Mostro daemon. This release introduces a new “NotAuthorized” cant-do reason to improve error handling and clarity, along with routine changelog updates and release maintenance.

2. Angor - v0.2.9

Angor is a decentralized peer-to-peer funding protocol built on Bitcoin and Nostr for creating and managing funding projects. This release is marked as unstable and includes major repository restructuring, new design app features (wallet handling, project management, debug tools), improved fund recovery flows, UI fixes, and significantly expanded testing coverage and SDK improvements. This was the biggest release, and there were also the releases of v0.2.10 and v0.2.11 last week.

Nosflare is a serverless Nostr relay built for Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database backend. This release focuses on backend reliability with further database optimizations, improving overall performance and stability of the relay. This was the latest release, and there were also the releases of v7.9.43 and v7.9.42 last week.

2. Pyramid - v1.2.5

Pyramid is a Nostr relay system for building community-based, hierarchical relay networks (infrastructure tool) that lets users create and manage customizable sub-relays for communities. The v1.2.5 release improves group data handling by ensuring deleted events are properly removed from group search indexes, improving consistency and cleanup across community feeds. The latest release of the week was v1.2.6.
