Trazabilidad ganadera: ¡Por fin! Fedegán is relaunching an updated bovine traceability platform with the Ministry of Agriculture and ICA on December 9th. This system tracks animal data from birth to the consumer, having been developed by Fedegán and the government since the early 2000s until its dismantling in 2013. The new platform, Sinigan, aims to enhance sanitary security, combat contraband and illegal slaughter, and open up export opportunities, particularly to the United States.
