Chef’s notes

A childhood favorite of mine! Just don’t go too crazy with the scallions as you don’t want to overpower the pork flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of lean ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon of diced scallions
  • Ground black pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. Lightly coat your palms with olive oil to prevent the meat from sticking to you and to assist in keeping its ball form
  2. Mix the ground pork and diced scallions in a large bowl
  3. Roll the pork into the preferred portion size until it feels like it won’t fall apart
  4. Cook in a skillet for 15-20 mins
