ENACAL inicia proyecto de ampliación de agua potable en Matagalpa The Nicaraguan Company of Aqueducts and Sewerage (ENACAL), in collaboration with local families and the Mayor’s Office of Matagalpa, has initiated an expansion of the potable water system. This project aims to enhance water services for around 400 families across four neighborhoods in Matagalpa. Upon completion in early January, the installation of new pipes and a pumping station will strengthen the water supply to these communities.

• ENACAL, Protagonist Families, and the Mayor’s Office of Matagalpa are collaborating on the expansion.
• Approximately 400 families in 4 Matagalpa neighborhoods will benefit.
• The project involves installing 1,100 meters of pipes and a pumping station.
• The expansion is expected to be completed by early January.
• Benefiting neighborhoods include Germán Pomares, Linda Vista, Juan Pablo II, and Yaguare.
