White House rips into 'left lunatic' Mark Hamill for posting image of Trump in grave

The actor famous for portraying a sci-fi hero cast himself as a villain with his latest anti-Trump post and got nailed with fierce backlash. On Wednesday, Mark Hamill posted on BlueSky, the progressive social media platform, a denunciation of President Donald Trump with an image of the president lying in a grave.'This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President.' "If Only — He should live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes," Hamill wrote."Long enough to realize he'll be disgraced in the history books, forevermore," the "Star Wars" actor added with the hashtag "Don the con."The image appeared to be an outdated death wish from 2024 and was immediately excoriated on social media."Mark Hamill is one sick individual. These Radical Left lunatics just can’t help themselves," reads a statement from the White House Rapid Response team. "This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President.""I think Mark Hamill belongs in jail. He is using his notoriety to wish harm on the President. That only bolsters the crazed lunatics, who might act upon such a wish," one user responded on the X platform."Damn in this photo Trump looks as dead as Mark Hamill’s career has been for the last 30 years," another reply reads."He is a sick individual. So sad to see a movie hero turn into such an ugly soul," another detractor said. The tone-deaf post from Hamill comes at a time when Washington, D.C., is still reeling from an attempt on the president's life at the White House Correspondents' Dinner and a shooting at the National Mall after the vice presidential motorcade drove by.RELATED: George Lucas strikes back at woke critics of Star Wars Hamill also recently appeared in a video with former President Barack Obama promoting his presidential library in Chicago."A Star Wars-themed ad for the Obama Library — a library which looks like a fragment of the Death Star," one commentator joked.Like Blaze News? 'Crawl': Killer gators make for gruesome guests in overlooked creature feature

There’s nothing wrong with watching “The Silence of the Lambs” again, especially to honor the film’s 35th anniversary. With or without fava beans. The same holds for other genre classics like “Rosemary’s Baby,” “The Shining,” “The Exorcist” and “Halloween” (1978).The unrelenting creature brought to life with lo-fi special effects makes this a fine example of 'less is more storytelling. What about horror films that slipped by our pop-culture radar, settling into streaming obscurity? The following five films got little attention on release. They may have underperformed at the box office or simply debuted on a streamer sans fanfare. Each is well worth a look — maybe even while uncorking a nice Chianti.'Crawl' (2019) If you see just one killer alligator movie this year, make it "Crawl," which Quentin Tarantino dubbed his favorite film of 2019.Kaya Scodelario stars as a young woman checking in on her Dad (Barry Pepper) during a brutal Florida hurricane. She can’t find him at first, and his home has started to flood. Badly. That brings more than just the threat of black mold insurance claims. Some killer gators have decided to investigate the house, and Scodelario’s character would make a tasty snack.Yes, it sounds “Sharknado”-adjacent, but the movie's hokey premise is offset by first-rate direction from horror vet Alexandre Aja (“High Tension,” “The Hills Have Eyes” (2006)). The father-daughter dynamic is handled with care, giving gravitas to the story without diminishing the chill factor.'Hush' (2016) This Netflix original boasts a can’t-miss gimmick. What if the protagonist in a home invasion movie were deaf and couldn’t hear the intruder breaking into her home? Every step and crash fell on deaf ears. Literally.Horror maestro Mike Flanagan (“Doctor Sleep,” “The Fall of the House of Usher”) takes it from there, maximizing that plot device for a pulse-pounding affair that skimps on horror’s usual eye-roll moments. Credit star/co-writer Kate Siegel for crafting a credible heroine, one who never falls victim to girlbossery.Instead, the film finds new ways to explore the central hook while allowing Siegel’s character to flash her survival instincts.Yes, it has some slasher film DNA, but the thrilling setup makes it far more than a blood-and-guts-a-thon.RELATED: Killer bear flick 'Backcountry' puts big-budget thrillers to shame IFC Midnight'Splinter' (2008) Shea Whigham is one of Hollywood’s busiest character actors. Think “Joker,” “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning,” “Boardwalk Empire,” and many more projects. This micro-indie takes advantage of his screen presence, casting him as a crook on the lam with his reluctant gal pal. The duo abduct a couple while fleeing Johnny Law before the four run into an unexpected obstacle: a bizarre, stick-like creature that traps them in a convenience store. The setting couldn’t be starker, forcing us to focus on the squabbling foursome. That, plus the unrelenting creature brought to life with lo-fi special effects, makes this a fine example of “less is more” storytelling. The rest is up to Whigham, who proves his crooked character may have a redemptive arc lurking within.'Haunt' (2019) “From the writers of ‘A Quiet Place’” wasn’t the marketing draw the film’s studio imagined. Still, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods’ directorial effort delivers a straightforward horror film done just right. The plot screams Genre Film 101, with a gaggle of attractive young people in search of Halloween high jinks. They stumble upon a haunted house attraction with terrible marketing but a decidedly creepy vibe.Little do they realize the source of said vibes. There’s little about “Haunt” that reinvents the horror movie template. It’s the efficient scares, imaginative twists, and capable cast that seal the deal. The film became Shudder’s most-watched movie premiere of 2019.'Rogue' (2007) If you see just one killer crocodile film this year, make it this smart Aussie thriller. Director Greg McLean (“Wolf Creek”) leverages his homeland’s stunning vistas and a better-than-expected cast for a slick terrorfest. Radha Mitchell (“Man on Fire”) stars as a tour guide steering vacationers through the country’s Northern Territory. The trouble starts when her jerk of an ex (“Avatar’s” Sam Worthington) interrupts the riverboat tour. That’s nothing compared to what comes next. A massive croc terrorizes the boat, feasting on vacationers in the process. The serene setting lulls us into a false sense of security, but the creature feature scares prove as nasty as needed. Co-stars Michael Vartan (“Alias”) and a pre-fame Mia Wasikowska (“Alice in Wonderland”) provide the character beats, allowing us to invest in the dwindling band of survivors.Don’t get too attached to them, though.

Florida man accused of posting repeated threats on social media to assassinate Trump, Rubio, and Bondi

A Florida man is accused of posting repeated social media threats to assassinate President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and former U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of Florida.Nathaniel Sanders II, 32, of Miami Beach — who appeared in federal court Monday — used X and Instagram from at least January through April 2026 to make numerous posts threatening the lives of Trump, Rubio, and Bondi, officials claimed, citing court records.'When I get my hands on him, I’m gonna hurt him.'Sanders is charged with threatening the president of the United States and transmitting threats in interstate commerce, officials said, adding that he faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison if convicted.A criminal complaint from the Secret Service details a number of instances Sanders allegedly made threats on Instagram, the Palm Beach Daily News said.Sanders allegedly said in an April 10 post directed at Rubio that "like a lot of people be forgetting they bleed just like everybody else. Like when I get my hands on him, I’m gonna hurt him. Simple as that," the paper reported.Sanders also allegedly posted that he would “bomb” the White House and added that “I mean it," the Daily News reported.RELATED: FAA contractor charged for allegedly threatening to ‘kill you — Donald John Trump’ The Secret Service claimed another post aimed at Trump suggests that the president should “come find me” so Sanders “can stomp you in the ground," the paper said. The complaint indicated that in another April post Sanders called Trump an “orange pedophile a** pervert” and allegedly added, “I’m going to kill you,” the Daily News said.More from the paper:The threats were posted between Jan. 28 and April 22, according to the complaint. Law enforcement officials attempted to interview Sanders in February after the initial posts surfaced, but he is described as calling them “pedophiles” and refused to talk. The complaint says that Sanders posted numerous videos on his Instagram accounts in which he is depicted as “complaining and speaking angrily about his hatred” for Trump and other administration officials.Sanders also appeared to address first lady Melania Trump in a video, the Daily News said: “I don’t know what to do, Melania, like, all I got is a gun. It’s the only thing I can use now is a gun."The paper, citing the complaint, said there's no indication Sanders took steps to carry out an attack.A bond hearing is set for Thursday, the Daily News said, adding that his arraignment is scheduled for May 18.“Threats against public officials are not political speech,” U.S. Attorney Jason A. Reding Quiñones for the Southern District of Florida said. “They are serious federal crimes that endanger public safety and the rule of law. The complaint alleges that this defendant repeatedly threatened to assassinate the president of the United States and other senior officials. Those allegations will now be tested in court. Our office will continue working with the U.S. Secret Service and our law enforcement partners to investigate threats, protect public officials, and ensure that those who violate federal law are held accountable. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.”Special Agent in Charge Michael Townsend of the U.S. Secret Service, Miami Field Office, added that "making threats against the president of the United States is a federal crime, and we treat it with the seriousness it deserves every time. It does not matter where the threat is made or what platform is used, our agents will identify you, investigate you, and work alongside our federal and local partners to bring charges when appropriate. 'Multiple people' taken into custody as FBI RAIDS top Virginia Democrat's offices over alleged corruption

On Wednesday, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were seen carrying boxes out of the offices of Democratic Virginia state Sen. Louise Lucas, a powerful ally of Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D).A SWAT team also raided a cannabis dispensary located next to the Lucas offices in Portsmouth, according to a Fox News report. Lucas is known for owning several dispensary businesses and had previously been accused of selling illegal marijuana products. She told Fox she did not know what the investigation was about. The FBI confirmed 10 locations were being served with court-authorized criminal warrants. The federal investigation appears to be related to alleged illegal marijuana sales as well as alleged political corruption. “Multiple people” were taken into custody at the dispensary, according to Fox. "There is no threat to public safety. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is publicly available at this time," the FBI added in a statement. Lucas is the president pro tempore of the state Senate and had previously referred to President Donald Trump as a "fascist" while pushing a gerrymander in the state that would likely lead to more Democratic seats in U.S. Congress. She arrived at her offices and watched as the raid continued. She told Fox she did not know what the investigation was about. When a WTKR-TV reporter approached her vehicle during the FBI raid, she drove away without comment. The Cannabis Outlet store has been owned by Lucas since it opened in 2021. The 82-year-old is a Portsmouth native and was first elected to the Virginia state Senate in 1991. She is also in charge of the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee. RELATED: Judge BLOCKS Virginia referendum to gerrymander more Democrats into office She is known for her fiery and foul-mouthed presence on social media. "How about you all stay focused on the fascist in the White House and let us handle redistricting in Virginia," she said in a post from Jan. 2025. "[President] Donald Trump has s**t for brains and it oozes out of his mouth," she added in a separate post on Sept. 11, 2024. This is a developing story. Like Blaze News? NYC is falling apart — but Mamdani is busy making soccer cheap

Mayor Zohran Mamdani may not care to save New York City residents from himself, but he does apparently care about making soccer tickets more affordable. And BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is not having it.“We’re teaming up with the nation’s two-time champions to make soccer more affordable for everyone. And that's why we just made 1,000 $5 tickets for the May 9 home game available, starting now,” Mamdani announced in a promotional video.“The city of New York is crumbling at his feet, and he’s obsessing about possibly the worst sport in the world — soccer. That’s what you get. That’s what you get for electing a Muslim commie — 90 minutes of disappointment,” Gonzales comments.“When you look into his history, it’s not the first time he’s talked about trying to make soccer cheaper,” she adds, playing a clip of Mamdani talking about the sport yet again.“I had a New Yorker the other day come up to me and ask me if there was any way I could help him get World Cup tickets because he was saying that the cost that he saw for a game was $600. Right? This is increasingly out of reach,” Mamdani said.“We have made what used to be a working-class game into a luxury experience. And there are too many for whom it doesn’t matter where the World Cup is being played in the world. They know where they’re going to watch it. It’s TV,” he continued.“And we want to ensure that there are more experiences available,” he added.“Who cares?” Gonzales asks, confused. “Why soccer? Why? Why are you so obsessed with soccer?”Mamdani also brought up the cost of World Cup tickets on a podcast appearance, telling the interviewers that tickets can get up to $6,000.“It is absurd,” he said.“Why not pick an American sport? Football? No, he’s got to do the soccer thing,” Gonzales says, noting he even boasted about holding a meeting with the FIFA president on his social media.“Just an idea, OK? Focus on the things the people of New York City actually care about,” she continues. “He is about to bankrupt the entire city.”Want more from Sara Gonzales? To enjoy more of Sara's no-holds-barred takes on news and culture, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

13 DC police officials placed on leave, pending termination amid crime stat manipulation scandal

Over a dozen officials within the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department were placed on administrative leave on Monday amid allegations that the department manipulated its data to make crime appear lower.During a Tuesday press conference, interim Police Chief Jeffery Carroll announced that 13 officials had been placed on leave pending termination. Some of those individuals were already on leave “for other matters earlier,” he added.'The corruption that endangered lives, eroded trust, and allowed shooters, robbers, and predators to evade justice cannot be tolerated.'None of the officials has been fired, Carroll said.He explained that the department’s internal affairs bureau had completed an investigation into crime reporting following a referral from the U.S. Attorney’s Office earlier this year.“There were allegations of misconduct that were made, and based on those allegations, members were investigated, and the outcome is related to these individuals,” Carroll told reporters.Despite the crime stat scandal, the interim MPD chief insisted that the department had made “meaningful progress over the last three years in reducing crime.”“Homicides, shootings, and carjackings have fallen steadily since 2023,” he said.RELATED: ‘F you’: Departing DC police chief invokes Bible in performative, preacher-like rebuke to critics amid crime stat scandal Andrew Leyden/Getty ImagesThe House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has been conducting its own investigation into the alleged manipulation of crime stats, including releasing an interim report in December that accused MPD leadership of pressuring and instructing commanders to downgrade crime classifications to lesser offenses. RELATED: DC police chief manipulated crime stats to make city look better, report claims Pamela Smith, Jeffery Carroll. Amanda Andrade-Rhoades/Washington Post/Getty ImagesThe DC Police Union, which has long accused the MPD of manipulating data, welcomed the news that the department had taken action against multiple officials.“Justice is being served,” Gregg Pemberton, president of the DC Police Union, stated. “The command staff officials responsible for this betrayal must be held accountable, not just for the sake of the thousands of dedicated MPD officers they undermined, but for the residents of the District of Columbia who deserve honest leadership and real public safety. The corruption that endangered lives, eroded trust, and allowed shooters, robbers, and predators to evade justice cannot be tolerated.”Former Police Chief Pamela Smith resigned in December amid the allegations. Indiana’s May 5 primary election tested President Donald Trump’s influence after he endorsed several state Senate candidates seeking to unseat Republican incumbents who had previously broken ranks with him by opposing a redistricting map.At least six out of the eight Indiana Senate challengers endorsed by Trump won their respective primary elections on Tuesday, most with significant leads.A 'big night for MAGA in Indiana.'Twenty-one GOP state senators voted with their Democrat colleagues in December to block a new congressional map that would have created two more Republican-leaning districts and potentially strengthened the GOP’s control of the U.S. House of Representatives. The effort failed in a 31-19 vote, despite Trump’s warnings that he would target Republicans in the upcoming primary election who voted against it.Republicans who voted against the redistricting effort and who were seeking re-election in the May primary included:James Buck (District 21)Spencer Deery (District 23)Dan Dernulc (District 1)Greg Goode (District 38)Travis Holdman (District 19)Rick Niemeyer (District 6)Linda Rogers (District 11)Greg Walker (District 41)Republican state Senators Eric Bassler (District 39) and Kyle Walker (District 31) also voted against the redistricting map. ABC and the New York Times normalize leftist calls for violence

While Jimmy Kimmel’s widow joke wasn’t calling for violence, BlazeTV host Ron Simmons explains that calling for violence isn’t the problem — it’s the normalization of political violence that is.“I don’t think Jimmy is telling somebody to go out there and kill somebody, I do think that he is making light of what has been, as we already know, from the two previous assassination attempts, attempts on President Trump’s life, and the fact that we should be happy if he’s dead,” Simmons says on “Relatable.”And the first lady is on the same page as Simmons.“Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy — his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America,” Melania wrote in a post on X.The first lady went on to call for “ABC to take a stand” in response to Kimmel’s joke, while the president called for his firing in a post on Truth Social.“He ought to be fired immediately,” Simmons agreed. But Kimmel isn’t the only celebrity normalizing violent political rhetoric.“There are other people out here that are inciting things that we need to pay attention to,” Simmons explains, before calling out Hasan Piker.“The New York Times basically platformed him, allowed him to participate in some of their communications. And this guy, he’s even worse than Jimmy Kimmel,” he says, pointing out that in an interview with the NYT, he suggested that the killing of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was justified.“Engles wrote about the concept of social murder. And Brian Thompson as the United Healthcare CEO was engaging in a tremendous amount of social murder, the systematized forms of violence, the structural violence of poverty, the for-profit paywalled system of health care in this country,” Piker said in the interview.“And the consequences of that are tremendous amounts of pain, tremendous amounts of violence, tremendous amounts of death,” he added. However, Simmons notes that Piker has said much worse on his own Twitch stream.“If you cared about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, you would kill Rick Scott,” Piker said.In another clip, Piker calls for property owners to be killed “in the street.”“Yeah kill them. ... Let the streets soak in their f**king red, capitalist blood,” he said.“The New York Times, if they’re a legitimate journalistic output, they shouldn’t be platforming a guy like this,” Simmons comments.“I mean, that’s just way, way, way over the line,” he adds.Want more from Allie Beth Stuckey? To enjoy more of Allie’s upbeat and in-depth coverage of culture, news, and theology from a Christian, conservative perspective, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

GameStop's Next Act? Becoming a 'Legit Competitor' to Amazon. How the Company Plans to Do It Is Crazy.

Video game retailer GameStop says it has the best shot at becoming the next Amazon, and the company is ready to make big moves. The story starts in early February, when GameStop says it began accumulating stock in order to position itself to buy one historic online outlet.'eBay should be worth — and will be worth — a lot more money.'In a press release on Sunday, GameStop said that for the last three months, it has built a 5% economic stake in eBay and is ready to pull the trigger on a sale that would allegedly allow it to challenge Amazon for online superiority.GameStop's offer is to buy 100% of eBay at $125 per share in a 50/50 deal of cash and its own GameStop stock. This would total a $55.5 billion takeover.GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen said that with his expertise, eBay could become a "legit competitor to Amazon."The proposal also promises that the newly formed company could reduce its costs by at least $2 billion in just 12 months. This includes cuttings its sales and marketing budget in half, shaving $300 million off of product development, and reducing its administrative costs by $500 million.RELATED: No one believes this one-of-one Helen Keller item just sold for thousands of dollars David Paul Morris/Bloomberg/Getty Images "There is nobody who is more qualified, based on my experience, to run the eBay business," Cohen said, per Gamespot. "eBay should be worth — and will be worth — a lot more money. I'm thinking about turning eBay into something worth hundreds of billions of dollars."GameStop boasted a massive turnaround under Cohen, who is credited with taking a fiscal year 2021 net loss of $381 million and turning it into a FY 2025 net income of $418 million. This came off the back of the meme stock craze, a moment in 2021 when online forums — predominantly Reddit — rallied around a flailing GameStop and kept it alive for nostalgic reasons. The amazing part about the story is that GameStop has been able to keep that momentum alive for all these years. The company was at historic lows in 2020, sometimes trading at less than a dollar per share. By December 2020, shares had risen to over $4 before the company's portfolio exploded in the next month.RELATED: Viral video: Males in line for Pokémon cards begin arguing, then fighting — and then it gets way worse Jeffrey Greenberg/Universal Images Group/Getty Images By January 1, 2021, shares were worth $81.25 before an inevitable sell-off. However, the company is still sitting at around $25 per share, double what it was in 2013 and about $10 higher than 2007, when physical video game sales were still a formidable source of income.According to Marketplace, GameStop is still composed of mostly retail investors who own about 90% of its stock. This could pay off monstrously if CEO Cohen gets his way, as eBay's own stock has more than doubled since 2024.Both companies seem poised to continue their rise so long as resales of media and tech trend upward, while a trading card boom continues to permeate throughout the collector's world, where both companies can thrive.Like Blaze News? Alito shreds Ketanji Brown Jackson's unhinged dissent to SCOTUS' demand that Louisiana immediately redistrict

The U.S. Supreme Court issued a hugely consequential 6-3 ruling in Louisiana v. Callais last week, striking down the Bayou State's controversial 2024 congressional map as an unconstitutional racial gerrymander and providing some much-needed clarity on "whether compliance with the Voting Rights Act can indeed provide a compelling reason for race-based districting."Democrats and other liberals — including Justice Elena Kagan — condemned the ruling, construing it as a gutting of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and a setback for racial minority representation in American politics.Less than a week after its monumental ruling, the high court gave critics another reason to rend their garments.'The dissent's rhetoric ... lacks restraint.'While it customarily waits 32 days after a ruling to issue its judgment, the Supreme Court on Monday granted Louisiana Republicans' request to fast-track the process and immediately finalize its opinion in the case, thereby enabling the Bayou State to draw a new congressional map favoring the GOP in time for the 2026 midterm elections. The court noted in its unsigned order that the usual 32-day delay ordinarily affords the "losing party time to file a petition for rehearing"; however, in this case, the defenders of the unconstitutional gerrymander "have not expressed any intent to ask this Court to reconsider its judgment."RELATED: Obama, Mamdani, other Democrats throw ugly tantrums after SCOTUS strikes racial gerrymander U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. JACQUELYN MARTIN/POOL/AFP/Getty ImagesAbsent that expression of intent or any opposition from Louisiana, the court allowed its ruling to go into effect immediately, prompting Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to lash out at her colleagues in an unhinged four-page dissent."The Court's decision in these cases has spawned chaos in the State of Louisiana," Jackson said in her opening salvo. After criticizing Louisiana's eagerness to ditch its unlawful congressional map in the wake of the Callais ruling, Jackson said that "to avoid the appearance of partiality here, we could, as per usual, opt to stay on the sidelines and take no position by applying our default procedures. But, today, the Court chooses the opposite."Jackson said further that the court's expedited certification of the ruling "is tantamount to an approval of Louisiana's rush to pause the ongoing election in order to pass a new map" and represents an abandonment of constraints and principles that is "unwarranted and unwise."Evidently it was Justice Samuel Alito's turn to dunk on Jackson over the latest in her series of trademark screeds.Alito underscored in an opinion joined by Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch that the charges leveled in Jackson's dissent "cannot go unanswered."The conservative justice pointed out that if Jackson had her way, the 2026 congressional elections in Louisiana would be "held under a map that has been held to be unconstitutional," and that the Biden-nominated justice had failed to make the case for why it is somehow now too late for Louisiana to adopt a new, constitutionally compliant map and "not feasible for the elections to be held under such a map."In response to the two reasons Jackson did provide for dooming Louisiana to use an unconstitutional map in the midterm elections — first, that the court should observe the customary 32-day delay, and second, that the court should do so to avoid the appearance of bias — Alito wrote that "one is trivial at best, and the other is baseless and insulting."Turning on its head the assertion by Jackson that an expedited ruling-certification process screams bias, Alito noted that the Biden-nominated justice failed to explain why "unthinking compliance" with the custom "does not create the appearance of partiality (by running out the clock) on behalf of those who may find it politically advantageous to have the election occur under the unconstitutional map."Alito called Jackson's claim that the decision represents an unprincipled use of power "a groundless and utterly irresponsible charge."The conservative justice concluded, "The dissent accuses the Court of 'unshackl[ing]' itself from 'constraints.' It is the dissent's rhetoric that lacks restraint."Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

'Nonviolent' leftist allegedly calls for murdering Trump days after third assassination attempt

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after allegedly leaving a series of voicemails calling for the murder of President Donald Trump and other officials. Raymond Chandler of the Pittsburgh-area city of Wilkinsburg appeared in federal court on Friday on charges of influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official by threatening a family member and by threatening a federal official and influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official by threat, according to WTAE. 'He’s a liar among all liars. He’s a great deceiver. He’s the antichrist.' An FBI affidavit claimed that Chandler left several threatening voicemail messages with a member of Congress between April 2025 and April 2026. Last Wednesday, just days after a third assassination attempt against Trump, Chandler allegedly told the congressperson regarding President Trump: What I want you to do is I want you to take a firearm. I want you to put it in your hand. I want you to walk into the Oval Office. I want you to put that firearm to the president’s head, and I want you to pull the trigger and I want you to kill him. I am petitioning you, Senator, for redress of grievances. My redress of grievances is that this president is awful. ... He’s a liar among all liars. He’s a great deceiver. He’s the antichrist. I want you to walk into the Oval Office with a gun in your hand. I want you to put it to his temple, and I want you to pull the trigger. That is what I want you to do as my agent. That’s what I want you to do as my elected official. That’s what I am petitioning you to do with my free speech. I want you to kill the president. I want you to assassinate the president. That’s what I want you to do. Now, Senator, are you gonna come after me? Are you going to try me because of my voice and what I said? On April 18, Chandler also allegedly said of the congressperson and the congressperson's daughter: Imagine your house, your daughter’s house, everyone you know and love who is also rich. Imagine every single one of those homes being surrounded by a thousand people. Then imagine them all getting a text and then, then suddenly taking out their pocketknives, walking slowly towards your house with 10, you got your 10 guards or whatever against a thousand people, and then they come and they pull you out of your house and they slit your throat and they slit your daughter’s throat and they slit everyone’s throat. That you know, sir, that is the future. The speaker allegedly added: It's not a future I want; it's not a future I'm advocating for, but wealth concentration has gotten so bad in this country. The greed has gotten so bad. People are suffering so much, sir, that that is what is in our future. You will not escape their wrath. We must redistribute the wealth away from people like you. In another alleged message, the suspect pledged to build gallows and hang the congressperson, who is not named in the FBI affidavit. Other alleged voicemails made threats against ICE and expressed a willingness to 'personally kill.' RELATED: Suspected WHCD shooter snapped damning photo moments before the attack, court docs reveal The affidavit claimed the caller identified himself as Chandler and gave his address. The phone number associated with the calls was directly linked to Chandler via 'publicly available information,' the affidavit further claimed. Chandler is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Friday. On Friday, WTAE reported the following FBI statement: This morning, FBI Pittsburgh and the U.S. Secret Service arrested Raymond Chandler for threatening to kill federal officials, including President Trump and a member of Congress. The FBI will not tolerate threats of violence and will work tirelessly to protect public officials and all members of our communities. This arrest is a great example of our work with our law enforcement partners at USSS, the U.S Capitol Police, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Chandler is running against incumbent U.S. Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) in 2028. On his campaign website, Chandler promises to tax billionaires, provide universal basic income, 'abolish ICE,' and protect abortion. In an open letter to Sen. Dave McCormick (R-Pa.) featured on his website, Chandler describes himself as 'a Quaker' with 'a commitment to non-violence.' He also chastises McCormick because his 'voicemail is wayyy to [sic] short.' Chandler's campaign did not respond to a request for comment from Blaze News. Like Blaze News? James Comey indictment goes beyond infamous '86 47' seashell post, covers full 'body of evidence,' Blanche says

The Trump administration’s indictment against former FBI Director James Comey is grounded in a “body of evidence” that goes beyond the infamous “86 47” social media post, according to acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.Blanche spoke with NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday about the grand jury charges against Comey, which claimed that in May 2025, the former FBI director “knowingly and willfully” made a “threat to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon,” President Donald Trump.'This is not just about a single Instagram post.'The indictment referred to a since-deleted Instagram post from Comey that included a photograph of seashells arranged to read “86 47,” something “a reasonable recipient who is familiar with the circumstances would interpret as a serious expression of an intent to do harm to the President of the United States,” the indictment reads. The phrase “86” is a slang term for getting rid of something, while “47” is assumed to be a reference to Trump, the 47th president. The caption of Comey’s May 2025 post read, “Cool shell formation on my beach walk.” He later deleted the post and claimed that he “didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence.”“It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down,” Comey stated.NBC’s Kristen Welker questioned Blanche about the Department of Justice’s indictment, asking how the seashell image could “amount to a serious threat against the president’s life.”Blanche highlighted the federal government’s 11-month investigation into Comey, which included a “body of evidence” beyond the Instagram post.RELATED: Comey's legal troubles just got worse as DOJ pursues ANOTHER indictment James Comey. Michael M. Santiago/Getty Images“I am not permitted to get into the details of what the grand jury heard or found, as you know. But rest assured that it’s not just the Instagram post that leads somebody to get indicted,” Blanche told Welker. Welker then asked how the DOJ will “prove intent” after Comey claimed he was unaware his post could be interpreted as a call for violence. “You prove intent like you always prove intent. You prove intent with witnesses, you prove intent with documents, with materials. So again, this is not just about a single Instagram post,” Blanche replied. He mentioned that the case will proceed with a public trial, during which the government’s evidence will be revealed.“We are talking about evidence of all sorts. And that means documents, that means witnesses, and that means the whole array of what we did,” Blanche said.RELATED: James Comey ARRESTED after alleged threat against Trump Todd Blanche. Chip Somodevilla/Getty ImagesWelker asked Blanche whether online vendors who sell “87 46” merchandise and their customers should be “concerned that they’re going to be prosecuted by the DOJ.”“Of course not,” Blanche replied. “That’s posted constantly. That phrase is used constantly. There are constantly men and women who choose to make threatening statements against President Trump. Every one of those statements do not result in indictments, of course. There are facts, there are circumstances, there are investigations that have to take place.”Comey reacted to the DOJ’s indictment in late April, insisting that he was “still innocent.”“I’m still not afraid. And I still believe in an independent federal judiciary, so let’s go,” he stated. Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. One Senate Democrat’s uneasy standing within the party sparks intrigue as midterms loom

People have been speculating about the power balance in the Senate after the midterms — and all eyes have repeatedly fallen on one Democrat senator in particular.Politico published an article on Monday morning detailing a behind-the-scenes snapshot of Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, who was portrayed in the article as increasingly politically homeless. 'If we flip four seats in the Senate, who is the number 51 for the new majority?'Fetterman, a first-term senator, is being courted by Republican leadership as midterms approach, and their majority hangs in the balance by a narrow margin, Politico said.President Trump has been interested in flipping Fetterman for months, according to Fox News' Sean Hannity.RELATED: Fetterman urges Democrats to 'drop the TDS' after WHCD shooting — but Pritzker and Soviet-born Democrat don't listen Tom Williams/CQ-Roll Call, Inc/Getty ImagesIn his interview with Fetterman in March, Hannity shared that he spoke with President Trump with him in mind. Hannity said Trump tasked him with making the pitch to Fetterman.“Your job is to tell him he’s gonna run as a Republican, he’s gonna have our full support, more money than he ever dreamed of, and he’s gonna win big,” Hannity told Fetterman, recalling Trump’s alleged instructions. While Fetterman told Politico in an interview that he has no plans to become a Republican, he has become friends with a pair of senators and their spouses: Sen. Dave McCormick (R-Pa.) and Sen. Katie Britt (R-Ala.). He also "gets along well" with Senate Majority Leader John Thune, with whom he texts regularly, the outlet said. However, he has still championed many liberal issues that put him at odds with becoming a true Republican, including his stances on legalizing marijuana, abortion, and gay rights.Likewise, he has seen and is wary of how Republicans who have stood up to Trump, including Sens. Bill Cassidy (La.) and Thom Tillis (N.C.), have been treated. Having reached across the aisle and spent more time with Republicans, Fetterman is well aware that he is becoming increasingly alienated from his own party at the same time. However, he is equally aware of his political leverage if the Senate's margins narrow as they are expected to in the midterms: “If we flip four seats in the Senate, who is the number 51 for the new majority?” he asked during his interview with Politico. Republicans currently effectively hold a 53-seat majority in the Senate, while Democrats hold 45 seats. There are two independents who caucus with Democrats. Like Blaze News? 'America’s Mayor' is hospitalized in critical condition as tributes and well-wishes roll in

On Sunday evening, a spokesman for "America’s Mayor" Rudy Giuliani shared the news that the 81-year-old former New York City mayor is in critical condition in a Florida hospital. “Giuliani is currently in the hospital,” spokesman Ted Goodman wrote on X, “where he remains in critical but stable condition. Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he's fighting with that same level of strength as we speak.”‘I pray he pulls through this. The world needs more of him.’Goodman added, “We do ask that you join us in prayer for America's Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”Almost immediately after the news broke, well-wishes and tributes started pouring in. “Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized,” wrote President Donald Trump on Truth Social. “What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL — AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!”RELATED: Did Biden win Georgia? 2020 election results now in doubt after county admits counting perhaps 315,000 uncertified votes Drew Angerer/Getty ImagesThe president isn’t the only one offering well-wishes.Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, a New York City native who served four years as a police officer with the New York Police Department, wrote on X, “Mayor Rudy Giuliani was the most transformative figure in the history of NY City politics.”“He pulled off an economic and public safety miracle in a relatively short amount of time, and the city rose from the dead. I worked for the NYPD during the end of his second term. It was the honor of a lifetime,” Bongino continued. “I pray he pulls through this. Priest breaks hip — now Canada apparently wants him dead

Rev. Lawrence Holland fell in his bathroom on Christmas Day and suffered a hip fracture. While the 79-year-old Catholic priest went to a nearby hospital in search of help, health care workers at the facility apparently had a final solution in mind: state-facilitated suicide.Since the Canadian federal government under ex-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau legalized medically assisted suicide nationwide in 2016, the so-called Medical Assistance in Dying program has been grossly liberalized.'The moment you lose hope, the devil comes in.'Initially, MAID applicants had to be 18 or older and suffering from a "grievous and irremediable medical condition" causing "enduring physical or psychological suffering that is intolerable" to them. Now, persons struggling with anxiety, autism, depression, economic hardship, PTSD, and other survivable issues appear to be fair game. Next year, persons suffering solely from a mental illness will also be eligible.MAID — which Canada's Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer boasted in October 2020 would, with expanded access, "result in a net reduction in health care costs for the provincial governments" — is now among the leading causes of death in Canada, accounting for over 5% of all deaths in Canada in 2024."It's a false compassion," Rev. Holland told the B.C. Catholic, the Archdiocese of Vancouver's biweekly publication. The hobbled priest claimed that a doctor and a nurse at Vancouver General Hospital, directly affiliated with the British Columbia Ministry of Health, offered him MAID while he was recovering from his hip fracture, which is hardly a terminal condition. The priest further claimed that both medical professionals knew he is a Catholic priest."I think I was very shocked," said Holland. "It is such a sensitive subject."Rev. Larry Lynn, pro-life chaplain for the Archdiocese of Vancouver, said, "This must surely be among the most appalling examples of Canada’s coercive and insensitive euthanasia regime."RELATED: Euthanasia and the lie of the 'good death' Mininyx Doodle/Getty ImagesAlthough he was left "kind of silent" for a moment when the topic of assisted suicide was first apparently broached, Rev. Holland emphasized to the doctor that he, a Catholic priest, was morally opposed to the practice. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that direct euthanasia is "morally unacceptable"; that such actions constitute "a murder gravely contrary to the dignity of the human person and to the respect due to the living God, his Creator; and that "even if death is thought imminent, the ordinary care owed to a sick person cannot be legitimately interrupted."The Catholic Church has long campaigned against assisted suicide. The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops noted in 2023, for instance, that "euthanasia and assisted suicide (MAID) have always been, and will always be, morally unacceptable because they are affronts to human dignity and violations of natural and divine law."The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has similarly and repeatedly condemned the practice, affirming that "we are dealing here with 'a violation of the divine law, an offense against the dignity of the human person, a crime against life, and an attack on humanity.'"Just last month, Catholic bishops in New York published a guidebook reiterating the church's moral teaching "that this practice is objectively immoral and must be avoided, despite the false veil of compassion with which it is sold." The state was apparently in need of a reminder given its recent adoption of a law legalizing doctor-assisted suicide.Even when dealing with a patient from a "faith community" that's opposed to MAID, the Canadian Association of MAID Assessors and Providers still recommends that Canadian health care professionals make the pitch for assisted suicide. After informing his doctor that he was opposed to assisted suicide, Rev. Holland recalled the doctor explaining that he "just wanted to make sure that, if a [terminal] diagnosis came up or not ... I knew the different services I had access to."Rev. Holland told the B.C. Catholic that weeks later, a nurse also raised the matter of MAID with him.A spokesman for Vancouver Coastal Health, which runs the hospital, told the B.C. Catholic that "staff may consider bringing up MAID based on their clinical judgment, provided they possess the necessary knowledge and skills to do so."Staff are also "responsible for answering questions when patients bring up the topic of MAID," added the spokesman.Rev. Ronald Sequeria, the Catholic chaplain serving at Vancouver General Hospital, suggested there was something demonic about how MAID-pushers prey on suffering patients' despair — especially when suffering can be redemptive."The moment you lose hope, the devil comes in, in different personalities, and says, 'Do you want MAID? I don’t want people to suffer,'" said Rev. Sequeira."God makes us more pure, more strong, through the suffering when we offer it up," said the chaplain. "So we give hope — help them not to lose hope."Rev. Holland drove home this point, stressing that enduring pain "can encourage growth.""It can motivate you, it can open up new worlds, new vistas, new opportunities," added the priest.Like Blaze News? America ignores the externalities of immigration policy — while other countries bring the hammer down

Immigration policy is often argued in abstract terms — statistics, ideals, and political talking points — but its real effects are felt most sharply at the local level. And while other countries have much stricter laws surrounding immigration, Americans like BlazeTV host Auron MacIntyre are personally feeling the effects of our own lax ones.“While the Dominican Republic is, you know, not really someplace I want to spend the rest of my life, it is a wildly, wildly better civilization, to the point where they have a wall, and they will just shoot any Haitians that get near it because they basically treat it as some kind of contamination that’s going to destroy their society,” MacIntyre explains.“Haiti was literally founded on a satanic voodoo blood ritual. A blood sacrifice of white Europeans was the core beginning of this. ... The idea that you’re just going to have the native population rise up and slaughter the oppressor and then rule itself, that played itself out in Haiti, and we can see the exact result,” he continues.“And yet, we see people constantly trying to bring this culture into the United States. It’s absolutely crazy,” he adds.MacIntyre notes that this has already affected his own community, where a woman in his area “was beaten to death with a hammer by a Haitian immigrant” in “one of the most horrific videos” he’s ever seen.“So, this is no longer some kind of abstract understanding. ... No, this is directly getting people murdered in my community. People in places I have been, I have driven by, are getting murdered because of what is going on here,” he says.“And yet, we see the main concern is the safety not of American citizens who are beaten to death by hammers, but to the Haitians who are coming here themselves,” he continues, pointing out that the majority of these immigrants add no value to the country.“If you look at the statistics, you can see that 65% of Haitian households are on welfare. They are dependent on welfare for their living. That means that the entire community is a net drain on the American social system,” he explains.“You and I are paying to keep these people here and possibly murder our fellow Americans,” he says. “So everything about this from the economic argument to the moral argument is a complete lie.”Want more from Auron MacIntyre? To enjoy more of this YouTuber and recovering journalist's commentary on culture and politics, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

KILL SWITCH AGENDA: You’ll own your car — until the government’s AI says you don’t

If you still believe you “own” your car, you’re already behind the eight ball. What you actually own is a permission slip on four wheels. A machine that watches you, evaluates you, and decides, in real time, whether you’re allowed to drive it.Not a police officer. Not a court. Not even common sense. But instead — an algorithm.Every piece of technology fails at some point. When it does, you’re stuck explaining to a machine why you deserve to drive your own vehicle. And if that sounds like something ripped out of a dystopian script, it’s because we’ve crossed the line where dystopia gets rebranded as public safety. And our elected officials have voted for it.View to a killAutomakers are already moving toward biometric identification, behavior-based safety systems, and deeper integration with external data sources. The stated goal is reducing drunk driving. The real-world effect is broader: cars that monitor drivers and increasingly act on that data. The trigger for all of this sits inside the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Buried in Section 24220 is a mandate that forces the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to require “advanced impaired-driving technology” in every new car sold in America. That phrase sounds harmless on purpose.Because if lawmakers called it what it actually is — a federally required driver surveillance system with the power to disable your vehicle — there might have been a real debate. Instead, it slid through.RELATED: New Minnesota bill could run classic car owners off the road Education Images/Getty ImagesDesignated driverHere’s what is coming. Cameras locked on your face. Sensors tracking your eyes. Software analyzing your behavior, your attention, even your emotional state. The system doesn’t just look for alcohol impairment; it looks for anything it interprets as risk. Are you tired? Distracted? Stressed? That’s enough for the system to decide you aren’t fit to drive. And once that threshold is crossed, your car can refuse to move. You can sit there with the keys, with the title, with the payment book in your glove box, and the answer is still no. You’re not going anywhere. This is the shift nobody voted for in plain English. And it’s already happening.Driver monitoring systems are in millions of vehicles globally. Europe mandates them. U.S. automakers are embedding them. This isn’t theoretical. It’s slowly being built into new cars, and from 2027, every new car will have it. No exceptions.I spyAt the same time, automakers are pushing even further. Ford Motor Company has filed patents that read less like safety features and more like surveillance blueprints. We’re talking about biometric identification, behavioral tracking, even the potential to integrate with external databases.Your vehicle isn’t just transportation anymore. It’s a data collection terminal with wheels. And once that data exists, it doesn’t stay private.In-cabin monitoring systems are already being used in fleet vehicles. Live feeds. Driver tracking. Behavior analysis. And it’s being sold as valuable data to whoever wants to pay for it.Now connect the dots. This government mandate meets corporate capability. That’s not an accident. That’s alignment. And here’s where it gets even more convenient for everyone involved, except you.DADSS jokeCongress is pouring money into this. About $45 million has already been allocated for research, with over $100 million backing the Driver Alcohol Detection System for Safety program. Government and car businesses are not paying to install it in your car. You, the taxpayer, are paying for it.Automakers will comply, then pass every dollar of cost straight down the line to the buyer. More expensive vehicles. More complex systems. More opportunities for failure. And more profit margins built into something you never asked for. That’s the quiet part. The loud part? It is about control.Because once your car has the authority to decide whether you can drive, you’ve handed over something bigger than convenience. You’ve handed over autonomy. And don’t expect a political rescue. Most politicians have bailed on you. When Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Scott Perry (R-Penn.), and Chip Roy (R-Texas) tried to push back, they exposed a vote showing dozens of Republicans and over 200 Democrats supporting measures tied to this mandate. They passed this into law.Road to nowhereThat’s not division. That’s consensus. And consensus in Washington usually means one thing: The machine is moving forward, whether you like it or not. This is how permanent change happens. Not with headlines, but with technical language most people will never read. Until it shows up in their driveway. We’ve seen the warning signs before. In 2017, WikiLeaks revealed that the Central Intelligence Agency had explored the ability to hack vehicle control systems remotely. At the time, people were outraged. Now we’re building systems that make that capability look tame and calling it progress.Supporters will say this saves lives. And yes, impaired driving is a real issue. But we already have targeted solutions like ignition interlocks for convicted offenders. Which, by the way, there are already over 30 devices that stop drunk driving. This is universal monitoring. This is your car assuming you’re guilty before you’ve done anything at all.Fail safe? And here’s the question nobody in Washington wants to answer honestly: What happens when the system gets it wrong? Because it will.False positives. Glitches. Misreads. Software errors. Even placing drivers in dangerous situations. Every piece of technology fails at some point. When it does, you’re stuck explaining to a machine why you deserve to drive your own vehicle.Good luck with that. And once the door is open, it doesn’t close. If your car can stop you for “impairment,” what’s next? Speed enforcement built into the vehicle? Geofencing where your car simply won’t go?Insurance companies tapping into your driving data in real time?Law enforcement accessing in-cabin feeds?None of that requires a leap. It’s the next logical step. And the groundwork is already being laid and can change with no notice. No way outMeanwhile, your escape routes are disappearing. Older vehicles are being pushed off the road through regulation, parts shortages, and policy pressure. The market is being engineered so that opting out becomes less realistic every year. You won’t be forced into this overnight. You’ll just wake up one day and realize every new car on the lot plays by the same rules. That’s how control scales. Slow, steady, and almost invisible until it’s too late.To be precise, Section 24220 doesn’t flip a literal kill switch today. But it creates the legal and technological pathway for systems that can absolutely prevent your vehicle from operating based on algorithmic decisions. And this is the law, not just an idea. And it will be in all new vehicles.Call it whatever makes it easier to swallow. If your car decides you’re not driving, the outcome is the same. This isn’t about left or right. It’s about power — who has it, who’s gaining more of it, and who’s quietly losing it.Right now, drivers are on the losing end. And that is not about to change. And once this system is fully embedded, reversing it won’t be simple, cheap, or quick. It will be treated as essential infrastructure, too big to remove, too normalized to question. That’s the real endgame. Not safety. Not innovation.Control, baked into the very machines Americans rely on every single day.And as of today, only a few officials are fighting on our side.Who gets to decide when you’re allowed to drive? Because if the answer isn’t you, then you don’t own your car. You never did.
