1️⃣ What Is Continuum?
Continuum is a local-first publishing and identity tool built on the Nostr protocol.
It runs entirely on your own computer and allows you to generate, manage, sign, publish, and archive events under your custody.
There is no cloud account. There is no hosted login. Identity and signing remain local.
Simple. Calm. Structural.
2️⃣ How It Works
At a high level:
- Install Continuum locally
- Generate or import a Nostr identity
- Write notes or long-form articles
- Sign events locally with your private key
- Publish to selected relays
Events propagate across public Nostr clients
Your archive remains under your control
Continuum does not replace public clients — it sits beneath them as a sovereignty layer.
3️⃣ Feature Snapshot (v1.5)

🧠 Important Distinction
Continuum is not a public-facing consumer client.
It is a local-first custody layer for identity and publishing on Nostr.
Public-facing experiences are provided by various clients. Continuum ensures that signing, custody, and archival integrity remain under your control.
