Turkish Stuffed Peppers 🫑
One of my favourite dishes.

Ingredients
- 1 tea cup of rice
- 250 grams ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 teaspoon pepper paste
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried mint
- 6 - 8 bell peppers / red peppers
- 1/2 tea glass of olive oil
- 2 bunches of parsley
Directions
- Wash the rice and soak it for about 20 mins.
- Cut and clean out the seeds inside the peppers.
- Finely chop the parsley.
- Finely cut the onion and roast it with butter or oil until it turn slgihtly brown.
- Mix ground beef with rice, onion, parsley, tomato paste, dried mint, salt, and black pepper.
- When all the ingredients are well mixed, fill them into the peppers, and make a lid from a slice of tomato or use the original upper part from the peppers.
- Fill up half of the pot with hot water, mix with the pepper paste, pour olive oil on it, and close the lid; Wait until it cooks, which takes about 25 - 30 mins. Enjoy!
