Turkish Stuffed Peppers 🫑

Ingredients

  • 1 tea cup of rice
  • 250 grams ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 teaspoon pepper paste
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried mint
  • 6 - 8 bell peppers / red peppers
  • 1/2 tea glass of olive oil
  • 2 bunches of parsley

Directions

  1. Wash the rice and soak it for about 20 mins.
  2. Cut and clean out the seeds inside the peppers.
  3. Finely chop the parsley.
  4. Finely cut the onion and roast it with butter or oil until it turn slgihtly brown.
  5. Mix ground beef with rice, onion, parsley, tomato paste, dried mint, salt, and black pepper.
  6. When all the ingredients are well mixed, fill them into the peppers, and make a lid from a slice of tomato or use the original upper part from the peppers.
  7. Fill up half of the pot with hot water, mix with the pepper paste, pour olive oil on it, and close the lid; Wait until it cooks, which takes about 25 - 30 mins. Enjoy!
