Europe Nostra Serbia: Citizens’ Association Podbara Almašani from Serbia Recipient of the Kosta Karas Award The Citizens’ Association Podbara Almašani from Novi Sad, Serbia, has been awarded the Gold Costa Carras Prize for its exceptional efforts in safeguarding endangered cultural heritage. The Silver Prize was given to the Greek Voluntary Cultural Association ‘agapameDesylla’ for their work in promoting and preserving the heritage of Desylla village. These awards recognize civic initiatives that highlight community roles in protecting heritage and fostering connections between people, places, and the environment.

• The Citizens’ Association Podbara Almašani from Novi Sad, Serbia, won the Gold Costa Carras Award for preserving endangered cultural heritage.
• The Silver Costa Carras Award was presented to the Greek Voluntary Cultural Association ‘agapameDesylla’ for their efforts in preserving the heritage of Desylla village.
• The winners were selected from 41 applications from 23 European countries.
• The award ceremony will take place during the XI Delphi Economic Forum in Greece from April 22-25.
