• A phone with the Minibits wallet installed .
• If you don’t like installing apps, choose a web wallet from CashuWallets(eg Agicash)
• Internet connection

§Step 1:

§Step 4: Open Minibits

• Launch your Minibits wallet(Or your preferred wallet)
• Tap Receive (or the scan/import option)

§Step 5: Import the Cashu token

• Tap scan and point your camera at the code

§Step 6: Redeem

• Confirm the import.
• Minibits will redeem the token with the mint.
• Your balance should update immediately.

• Cashu tokens are like digital cash: whoever has the token can spend it. Treat this like cash because it is e-cash.
• Back up your wallet by writing down the 12 words.
• Don’t share tokens publicly after claiming.
• If redemption fails, try again or generate a new token.
• Do Not leave a lot of money on the MiniBits Wallet since this is a custodial product that requires trust.
• Conisder Sending larger amounts to a self-custodial lightning walet like Zeus.
