Welome to the Freedom Money Course. My name is Marc. I began using bitcoin as freedom money in 2014. I decided to make this course to teach people how to use bitxoin as a peer-to-peer electronic cash syustem instead of an investment that requires a trusted third party. Thi.s is important because of a little known fact in the abstract of the whitepaper writtten by Satoshi Nakamoto.
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network.
This course is designed to teach you the main benefits of bitcoin and how to keep them.
