§Hackathon Summary

The Launch IO Hackathon, organized by io.net, was a 35-day online event centered on building AI agents with IO Intelligence APIs. The hackathon attracted 174 registered developers, generating 116 approved project submissions. Participants competed in two tracks: one dedicated to developing functional autonomous AI agents for real-world use cases, and a guided beginner track focusing on agent framework exploration and ideation.

Among the notable projects were AI-powered productivity tools, research assistants, and content summarizers, all utilizing IO Intelligence capabilities. The event featured a total prize pool of $25,000 in cash and IO Credits, with top teams receiving up to $10,000 each. Throughout the hackathon, both experienced and newcomer developers demonstrated strong engagement, contributing practical implementations of decentralized AI technologies.

In addition to immediate recognition and prizes, outstanding participants became eligible for follow-up support through the IOG Grant Program, encouraging further innovation within the AI agent ecosystem.

§Hackathon Winners

The first Launch IO Hackathon brought together 115 participants to develop autonomous agents using IO Intelligence APIs. Awards were presented in two categories, recognizing achievements in both advanced and beginner-level agent development.

§Autonomous Agents in the Real World Prize Winners

This category acknowledged the top eight projects for their application of IO Intelligence APIs, with evaluation criteria including technical innovation, effective problem-solving, and real-world implementation.

1st Place

• IO.AIRGPT: Enables users to control drones with natural language commands, converting instructions into real-time autonomous flight operations through agent orchestration with IO APIs.

2nd Place

§Explainer Demo Prize Winners

This category recognized five projects from the beginner track for their clear demonstration of the IO Agent Framework, effective communication, and innovative agent concepts.
