§Hackathon Summary

Circle Developer Bounties - Group 1 engaged the developer community with 447 registered participants and 69 approved submissions. Focused on real-world adoption of Circle’s blockchain infrastructure, especially USDC integration, the first edition of these developer bounties encouraged the use of Circle’s smart contracts, APIs, and SDKs. Running from June 1 to August 31, 2024, it addressed four initial challenge areas. Eligible winners in each bounty category received 1500 USDC.

Throughout the event, participants submitted projects that included functional MVPs, multichain payment integrations, and gasless transaction features. Applications spanned remittance, merchant payments, and custodial tools, demonstrating a range of practical use cases. The event’s structure, active Discord community, and accessible resources supported ongoing engagement and development within the Circle ecosystem.

§Winners

Circle Developer Bounties - Group 1 presented main awards in three categories, highlighting technical achievements in blockchain payments using Circle technologies. Each winning project addressed specific payment challenges within the blockchain space.

§Multichain Payment System Prize Winners

• MorphPay: Universal Multichain USDC Payment Gateway — Offers a multichain USDC gateway leveraging Circle CCTP V2. MorphPay automates treasury management and supports cross-chain USDC transfers (8–20 seconds) across five blockchains, with integrated smart hooks.
• Gatee — Provides a blockchain ticketing platform that utilizes Circle CCTP for cross-chain USDC payments. Features include ERC-1155 NFT ticket issuance, automated revenue splitting, IPFS metadata storage, and rotating QR codes for venue authentication.

§Gasless Experience Prize Winner

• PUBSTACK — Delivers a payment platform for content creators, integrating Circle Wallets and Gas Station to enable gasless, frictionless USDC transactions.

§USDC Gas Fee Payment Prize Winner

• Gasorin — Integrates WalletConnect and Circle Paymaster to allow gas fee payments in USDC within Circle Smart Accounts, providing streamlined DeFi interactions and efficient gas management.
