I found this recipe online and couldn’t believe I’d never thought about it before. This is the easiest way to prepare corn on the cob for a large group. This is a must try for your next big event.

Ingredients

  • 20-30 ears of fresh sweet corn on the cob
  • 3-4 sticks of butter
  • Season to taste…salt, pepper, cajun seasoning

Directions

  1. Shuck fresh corn, removing all silk and husks, then rinse if desired
  2. Place corn in a cooler (size needed will be based on # ears)
  3. Bring pots of water to boil and pour into cooler, covering all the corn
  4. Add a stick of butter for every 6-8 ears of corn
  5. Add seasoning to taste
  6. Seal cooler and allow to sit for 45 minutes
  7. Enjoy fresh cooler corn with friends and family
